PHO reinstates mask requirements in health-care facilities

​​​​​The Provincial Health Officer on Sept. 28, 2023, announced that medical mask wearing will be required by all health-care workers, volunteers, contractors, and visitors in patient care areas starting Oct. 3, 2023.

BCCNM reminds nurses and midwives that public health-care employees will be required to disclose their COVID-19 and influenza immunization status through a provincial registry. This registry is not affiliated with BCCNM in any way. Please direct questions to the Ministry of Health or your employer. Learn more here.​
