Nursing news: HPOA special edition

Dear Olivia,

Ahead of the Health Professions and Occupations Act coming into effect April 1, BCCNM has reviewed and revised all of our standards for nurses and midwives and incorporated them into our bylaws.

For nurses, this includes new standards on regulatory supervision, delegation, transmission of communicable diseases, and revisions to certified nurse standards.

We’ll keep you updated over the coming weeks as the new legislation comes into effect.
