PharmaCare survey results and resources

The BC PharmaCare team thanks the nurses who completed the BC PharmaCare survey shared in our May newsletter. Nurses reported that BC PharmaCare makes a meaningful difference for patients, but many people do not learn about it until they need help paying for medications, often during major life changes such as aging out of parental coverage, retiring, or receiving a new diagnosis. Building on this feedback, the BC PharmaCare team has created several new resources and are developing more.

Discipline and public notices

BCCNM publishes a variety of professional conduct notices on its website. These notices include criminal record review non-compliance, consent agreements, Investigation Committee notices, summary protection orders, and discipline notices. While all of these notices are public information, only exceptional outcomes (i.e., Investigation Committee order, discipline order) and circumstances (i.e., discipline hearing) are highlighted in the licensee newsletters.
