What's new for renewal 2023: Nursing professionals

​Registration renewal starts on Feb. 1, 2023. Here are the things you need to know. 

Updated payment options

You’ll have more payment options when you renew this year. Based on feedback from registrants, we’ve added Apple Pay and Google Pay to our payment methods. If you'll be using one of these options, make sure you set up your account in advance to avoid delays during renewal. Visit the Methods of Payment page on our website for all payment options and frequently asked questions:

2023-24 fees

Registration fees for 2023-24 were announced in December 2022; the fee summaries for each nursing designation are provided below: 

Nurse practitioners only: Updated practice hours requirement

We’ve updated the practice hours requirement to reflect the variety of roles that nurse practitioners practise in today. NPs must complete a minimum of 900 practice hours in the three years prior to renewal, including at least 300 direct clinical practice hours. Learn more.
