Unshakeable confidence in nursing and midwifery care

Acknowledge. Practice. Share.

BCCNM's commitment to ensuring all Indigenous Peoples in B.C. receive culturally safe and timely care influences everything we do. And we are on this journey together. The Indigenous Cultural Safety, Cultural Humility, and Anti-Racism practice standard highlights core concepts and requirements for nurses and midwives. Resources are available to help acknowledge, learn, and apply the standard.

NP practice validation survey coming soon

In late March, Canadian nurse practitioners (NPs) will be asked to complete a survey that confirms the key elements of NP practice. Your feedback will help ensure the new NP entry to practice exam under development accurately reflects NP practice in Canada, and tests new graduates' readiness to enter the profession. Learn more about the purpose of the survey, how the information collected will be used, and how it fits into the NP Regulation Framework Implementation Plan Project.
