PHO reinstates mask requirements in health-care facilities

​​​​​The Provincial Health Officer on Sept. 28, 2023, announced that medical mask wearing will be required by all health-care workers, volunteers, contractors, and visitors in patient care areas starting Oct. 3, 2023.

​​​​UDPDATE AUG. 20, 2021: PHO order​s regarding mandatory vaccinations

BCCNM reminds nurses and midwives they must follow PHO orders including meeting mandatory vaccination status for working at certain sites​. Nurses must also follow organizational policies and guidelines.​
