BCCNM introduces From Awareness to Action: Indigenous Cultural Safety, Cultural Humility and Anti-Racism learning series

LEARNING RESOURCE
Inappropriately accessing client records

We regularly receive complaints about nurses and midwives inappropriately accessing client records. Inappropriate access includes accessing records for clients not in their care, or for reasons other than providing care.

Emergency response in British Columbia

BCCNM is accepting applications for temporary emergency registration (TER) to support health-care response related to environmental emergencies, such as wildfires or flooding. Non-practising registrants may be eligible to apply.

Practising registrants with BCCNM do not need temporary emergency registration. If you would like to assist with emergency response, please sign up for the Emergency Health Provider Registry.
