Job posting: NP Contract Assessor

BCCNM is looking for an NP Contract Assessor. Assessors complete licensee professional performance assessments by reviewing nurse practitioner patient records against BCCNM Standards of Practice and Entry Level Competencies. Assessors work closely with the QA team and contribute their expertise to the development and refinement of the Quality Assurance Program policy, process, and tools.

Digital Referrals and Orders Program

The Digital Referrals and Orders Program, now operating under BC Shared Health Services, is inviting nurse practitioners who regularly send community referrals and orders to participate in virtual workshops to help improve and streamline the referral experience across British Columbia. Interested NPs must be able to attend all three virtual sessions, and confirmed participants will receive calendar invitations.

Sessions:

Opening session: Sept. 17, 4:30–6 p.m.
Nurse practitioner working session: Sept. 24, 6:30–8 p.m.
Closing session: Sept. 29, 5–6 p.m.

Complete the expression of interest by Sept. 9, 2026.

Discipline and public notices

BCCNM publishes a variety of professional conduct notices on its website. These notices include criminal record review non-compliance, consent agreements, Investigation Committee notices, summary protection orders, and discipline notices. While all of these notices are public information, only exceptional outcomes (i.e., Investigation Committee order, discipline order) and circumstances (i.e., discipline hearing) are highlighted in the licensee newsletters.
