In accordance with the Health Professions Act and the college bylaws, BCCNM will be holding a board election this fall.
Voting for the 2023 election will be conducted electronically. Registrants who are eligible to vote will receive an email before the election period with instructions on how to vote. Please see Section 4 of the BCCNM bylaws for voter eligibility conditions.
If you have any questions about your eligibility to vote, please contact the BCCNM Governance Team at election@bccnm.ca before Sept. 29 to confirm your status and ensure your contact records are up to date.
Call for nominations
Election for the following seats: practical nurses (LPN), nurse practitioners (NP), and registered psychiatric nurses (RPN).
We are pleased to invite eligible practising, provisional, and non-practising BCCNM registrants to consider running for one of the three available board positions. These positions start Jan. 1, 2024.
If you are interested in applying, please complete the nomination application. We also recommend you read the accompanying Guide for Applicants. This guide will help you assess if you are eligible to become a board member and offers guidance on how to complete your nomination application. We also draw your attention to the Board Composition Assessment completed by the BCCNM Governance Committee, which identifies the priority skills, knowledge, and perspectives being sought for the 2024 board.

Tuesday, Oct. 3, 2023. We will not accept paper or late applications. Following your submission, you will receive an email confirming the safe receipt of your nomination application from the Governance Team.
The BCCNM Governance Committee will verify and review all applications before sending a final ticket of candidates to the board chair and registrar.
