New PHO order expands list of providers authorized to provide flu vaccines

​The Provincial Health Officer (PHO) has posted a new order allowing health professionals authorized to administer COVID-19 vaccines, who meet specific conditions, to also administer influenza vaccines. The order—Regulated and Unregulated Health Professionals Influenza Immunization – November 4, 2022—is now in effect.

This order builds on the PHO order initially issued in March 2021 that expanded the list of health professionals authorized to give COVID-19 vaccinations.
