BCCNM is deeply saddened by the events in Tumbler Ridge

Feb 11, 2026

BCCNM is deeply saddened by the tragic loss of life in Tumbler Ridge and extend our heartfelt condolences to all those affected by this senseless violence.

Moments like this call us to lead with compassion, to honour the dignity of every life lost, and to recognize the profound impact violence has on individuals and communities.

We are also thinking of the nurses, first responders, and care providers impacted by these events. Thank you for caring for the injured while also dealing with your own grief—your dedication and service are so appreciated.
