Updated RN Certified Practice Decision Support Tools (DSTs)

The Nurses and Nurse Practitioners of BC (NNPBC) have been working on improving the RN Certified Practice Decision Support Tools (DSTs) and competencies.

The first phase, which involved organizing existing content into a new framework and aligning competencies, is done:

The second phase of this project, which will involve content revisions, will begin shortly through a phased approach.

Remember, the BC Centre on Substance Use handles DSTs and competencies for Certified Practice for Opioid Use Disorder (CP-OUD). This certification is available to both RNs and RPNs.
