Gremmen, Antonius (Ton), RN

Consent agreement

Dec 5, 2022

On December 5, 2022 a panel of the Inquiry Committee approved a Consent Agreement between BCCNM and Antonius (Ton) Gremmen of Kelowna to address professional misconduct that occurred in March of 2022. Mr. Gremmen violated a patient's expectation of privacy when he accessed the patient's personal health record without clinical justification. Mr. Gremmen then provided details of the patient's treatment to a third party when he was expressly prohibited from doing so.

The Registrant has voluntarily agreed to terms equivalent to a limit and/or condition on their practice, including:

  1. A suspension of their nursing registration for three weeks; and
  2. Completion of remedial education in Responsible Nursing.

The Inquiry Committee is satisfied that the terms will protect the public.
