Skene, Lori, RN

Consent agreement

Mar 11, 2025

On March 11, 2025, a panel of the Inquiry Committee approved a consent agreement between BCCNM and Lori Skene of Kamloops, B.C., to address an incident of workplace misconduct that occurred in January 2024.

BCCNM's professional standards on ethical practice require nurses to treat colleagues, students, and other health-care workers in a respectful and safe manner. BCCNM does not condone conduct that may harm a coworker.

Ms. Skene has retired and cancelled her registration.  Should she apply for practicing registration in the future, she will have to meet competence, character, and fitness requirements as determined by the Registration Committee.

The Inquiry Committee is satisfied that the terms will protect the public.
