Lee, Brian, RN

Consent agreement

Jan 25, 2025

On Jan. 25, 2025 a panel of the Inquiry Committee approved a consent agreement between BCCNM and Brian Lee of Victoria to address practice issues that occurred sometime in early 2024. The registrant breached patient confidentiality when he used his personal phone to take a photo in a patient care area of himself and objects used in a medical procedure. The registrant shared the digital photo with other healthcare staff who were not involved in the care of the patient.

The registrant has voluntarily agreed to terms equivalent to a limit and/or condition on their practice, including:

a. A reprimand and a suspension of his nursing registration for three days.

The Inquiry Committee is satisfied that the terms will protect the public.
