Did you know that we offer practice consultation to BCCNM registrants who have questions about nursing and midwifery practice in BC? It's one of the ways we meet our mandate of public protection. Through practice consultation, BCCNM supports nurses and midwives to provide safe, competent, and ethical care.

Volunteer opportunity—new practical nurse exam

We're looking for nurses who work with new LPNs to join a panel that will review the new PN exam questions. Apply by July 28, 2021.

Inquiry, Discipline, and Monitoring updates

BCCNM publishes a variety of professional conduct notices on its website. These notices include consent agreements, Discipline Committee and Inquiry Committee notices, and Inquiry and Discipline hearing notices. While all of these notices are public information, only exceptional outcomes (i.e., Inquiry Committee order, Discipline order, hearing outcome) and circumstances (i.e., discipline hearing) are highlighted in registrant newsletters.

Office closed

BCCNM's office will be closed on Monday, Aug. 2 for BC Day. We will reopen at 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 3.
