BCCNM launched its new website in December 2020. As part of our research, we heard from nurses that they want designation-specific resources that are easy to find. We've reorganized our content, applied our new brand and brought together all our registrant groups under one unified site.

Fee on credit card payments to be temporarily removed

In October 2020, we announced that we would be adding a 2.5% convenience fee to credit card payments. In light of the limited options we can currently offer for non-credit card payment, we have decided to temporarily defer the collection of the 2.5% fee.

If you made a payment by credit card when you renewed, you will have the amount of the convenience fee credited to your BCCNM account after April 1, 2021.

Seeking nurses for PN exam development

BCCNM is looking for nurses who work with new LPNs to help review items for the new PN exam. The deadline for applications is Feb. 5, 2021.

COVID-19 impact: guidance for educators

As the COVID-19 pandemic has evolved to become a longer-term issue, BCCNM continues to monitor the impact on nursing and midwifery education programs, faculty, and students.

In response to directives from education institutions or health authorities, nursing and midwifery programs may be required to move to virtual instruction or to cancel classes, labs and/or student practice placements, as part of safeguarding patients, students, and faculty.
